Alida Anderson Art ProjectsAlberto Korda (1928-2001)
We manage a set of 19 vintage photographs which were part of the personal collection of Alberto Diaz Gutierrez, better known as Alberto Korda or simply Korda (Born September 14, 1928 in Havana, Cuba - Died May 25, 2001 in Paris, France). These photos were inherited by Alejandra Diaz (Korda's daughter) and were acquired by a private collector in 2004. It includes the vintage 1960 cropped silver gelatin print of "Guerrillero Heroico", the most reproduced photograph in history.
The collection is available to museums and universities for loans.
